Your Performance Day Emergency Bag
December 28, 2025

Dancing is my first language! With 15+ years of teaching experience, I created BollyRhythm to make learning fun and stress-free. Whether it’s for an event or a living room show, I’m here to help you shine.
Your Performance Day Emergency Bag

You’ve rehearsed, you’ve got the outfit, the choreography is 🔥—but we all know something unexpected always pops up on performance day. That’s why I swear by packing a little emergency bag to keep you calm, collected, and stage-ready.
Here’s what I always throw in mine:
🎀 Hair Helpers
- Hair Ties – Bring at least 3. One always disappears.
- Bobby Pins – Because flyaways will fly.
- Hair Spray – Smooth edges, secure buns, save the day.
📌 Wardrobe Fixers
- Safety Pin – The MVP of any Indian outfit situation.
- Mini Sewing Kit – Optional, but powerful. (Snaps, buttons, threads… you never know.)
- Double sided fashion tape – For tikkas or duppatas that won't stay put.
💄 Quick Glam Touch-Ups
- Makeup touch-ups – Think: lipstick/lip-gloss, blush, and powder.
- Compact mirror and blotting sheets – Shine only where you want it.
- Mini perfume roller – Because it feels good to smell good.
🍌 Snack & Sip
- Light snacks – Granola bars, trail mix, a banana... something with energy but not too heavy.
- Water bottle – Hydration = stamina. Just sip slowly before dancing!
👣 Comfort Extras
- Band-aids – For the heel rubs you didn’t plan on.
- Body Wipes – Instant refresh between practices and/or performance.
- Flat shoes/slippers – Your feet deserve a break after the performance
Pack it the night before, and keep it all in a tote or pouch. You won’t regret it—and chances are someone in your group will thank you!
